Will I lose my gigs if I get a new phone?
If you have iPhone backups turned on, your Cadence data is included in the backup and restores with the rest of your phone.
What does the premium unlock include?
A one-time purchase — no subscription. It unlocks the tax export (a PDF summary plus a CSV of every line item) and unlimited receipt scanning. Everything else in the app is free, and you get two free receipt scans to try it.
I paid before and reinstalled. How do I get it back?
Open the paywall and tap Restore Purchases. As long as you're signed in with the same Apple Account, it will unlock again at no cost.
How do recurring gigs work?
Turn on Repeats when adding a gig and Cadence fills in the upcoming dates for you with the amount prefilled. Manage, pause, or end any series from Me → Recurring gigs.
Why does the amount on a future gig look like money I haven't made?
It isn't counted as earned. Upcoming gigs are shown separately, and your totals — including the tax export — only count gigs that have actually happened.
Receipt scanning didn't read my receipt.
Scanning works best on a flat, well-lit receipt. If it can't read one, you can always type the amount in by hand — the photo still gets attached to the expense.
